Need A Lover
By: Christopher
Well I’m broke down outta, luck sittin’ in a pickup truck
Rainin’ all alone, quarter for the telephone
Full moon too soon, better get a room
She’s upstairs, red hair, with flowers on her underwear
I get so tired of always being’ alone
Making love on the telephone
I need a lover really, really bad
Baby are you really bad
Now I’m racin’ chasin’ got charges I’m facin’
No fun, no gun, things I shoulda never done
This town that town, everyday I run around
I’m tired, I’m wired, I didn’t get hired
I get so tired of always being’ alone
Making love on the telephone
I need a lover really, really bad
Baby are you really bad
Mama I wanna be bad with you I wanna push my love
Baby I wanna get bad with you I wanna push my love
Mama I wanna be bad with you I wanna push my love
I wanna push it, push it, push…
Now baby, baby do ya think maybe, we could, we should
Do you think we ever would
Shack up, settle down, stop all the run around
Carry me, marry me, use me up and bury me
I get so tired of always being’ alone
Making love on the telephone
I need a lover really, really bad
Baby are you really bad? (repeat)
Mama I wanna be bad with you I wanna push my love
Baby I wanna be bad with you I wanna push my love
Baby I wanna be bad with you I wanna push my love
Push it, push it, push.
Drag Me Down Low
By: Vento,McCullough
I prayed to gods in the heavens above
To rescue me from the grip of your love
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
You took my soul
Then turned to stone
Now it’s time for me to go
The sun is shining but you’re bringing me rain
The bluebirds singing but you’re screaming in pain
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
You took my name
Then played the game
Now it’s time for me to go
You stole my treasure
Like a pirate on the sea
You’re a natural disaster
But you won’t destroy me
Been trapped in your quick sand
Way too deep
I’ve been gathering strength man
Now you’re gonna set me free
I’ve seen deception
With no redemption
Ain’t no exception
All the hell you’ve brought to me
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
I gave you love
You took my soul
Now it’s time for me to go
You stole my treasure
Like a pirate on the sea
You’re a natural disaster
But you won’t destroy me
Been trapped in your quick sand
Way too deep
I’ve been gathering strength man
Now you’re gonna set me free
Hit by a freight train in the tunnel of love
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
You took my soul
Then turned to stone
Now it’s time for me to go
I gave you love
You took my soul
Now it’s time for me to go
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
You drag me down low
You drag me down low!
Everything Will Be Alright
By: Vento,Cody,Oblinger,Hadley,Beitle
I stood in the doorway
On the edge of yesterday
Reflections of my soul
Shape the man i am today
When the new day rises
Against the shotgun rain
They’ll be two trains a rollin’
But only one that goes my way
And the time has come
To put my trust in fate
On the northwind track
I hear the whistle blow
I hear the son’s of fathers
And i look across the sky
Where wisdom is the wind
And the shining light my guide
Time will come to pass
And these wounds shall heal
I tell myself
Everything will be alright
Every step i take
Seems to take my breath away
A gift upon each moment
Helps me cherish every day
Eagles from this land
Taught me how to pray
I watch the river run
Because it knows the way
With nothin’ but my faith
I’ll be right where i belong
When my strength comes back
Our friendship will be strong
I hear the son’s of fathers
And i look across the sky
Where wisdom is the wind
And the shining light my guide
Time will come to pass
And these wounds shall heal
I tell myself
Everything will be alright
Now let me hear
A choir of promise
a choir of hope and faith
for those who feel so helpless
all those that’ love em’
Majestically singing
Sing out loud
Sing out loud
Everything will be alright
And the time has come
To put my trust in fate
on the northwind track
i hear the whistle blow
I hear the son’s of fathers
And i look across the sky
Where wisdom is the wind
And shining light my guide
Time will come to pass
And these wounds shall heal
I tell myself
Everything will be alright
I hear the son’s of fathers
And i look across the sky
Where wisdom is the wind
And shining light my guide
Time will come to pass
And these wounds shall heal
I tell myself
Everything will be alright
Frankie’s Ghost
By: Vento, Delu
Frankie was my hero
So strong and brave
All the kids looked up to him
We all felt safe
When he was around
But Frankie always seemed to love
Hangin’ out on the dark side of town
We were kids on the street
Baptized by fire
Life is a circus
Dancin’ on a high wire
Everything dies I guess that’s true
But you’re never prepared until it happens to you
Memories of innocence
Days when the dawn never came
Youth filled with promises
Frankie was king of our gang
I walk through this wasteland
Across a river filled with blood
Ashes of destruction mixed with holy water
Oh makes mud
Shuttered and deserted
This place I once called home
Only Frankie’s ghost remains
Staring out the window
Hopeful for tomorrow
But it all went up in smoke
When paradise was cheap
And so was the dope
Memories of innocence
Days when the dawn never came
Youth filled with promises
Frankie was king of our gang
We’re Just Fine
By: Vento, Hall, Hadley
You’ve been through some bad stuff baby
But you worked it all out
You’re headin’ for some good times baby
And there aint’ no doubt
Now a brand new day, brings a brand new light
Throw that shit in the sea, leave it all behind
Unlock the love in your heart, just let it shine
Sing it out to the world, that you’re just fine
You’re just fine
Most people said that we weren’t gonna make it
But we proved em’ all wrong
They hit us hard, and then they tried to break us
But our love was way too strong
It was lookin’ bad in the eye of the storm
Winds of power and might meant to do you harm
Through the love of great friends we stood arm and arm
Sing out to the world you’re just fine
You’re just fine
I know there’s nights when you feel so alone
We live two separate lives
But remember those nights when we were hand and hand
I’ll always be by your side, baby I’m your man
I’ll never let ya down, gonna take a stand
Sing out to the world, that we’re just fine
We’re just fine.
Widow Sheila
By: Vento,Delu
Well let me tell ya bout a widow named Sheila Ledonne
She was meaner than a rat trapped down in a tenement hall
She had long lean legs and stood about six feet tall
Sheila lived next door in our trailer park
And like a killer dog her bite was worse than her bark
But she loved to sneak me over as soon as it got dark
Oh the times were hard then
Out of work dad barely survived
Said my prayers at bedtime
But with the help of Widow Sheila I learned how to rock all night
Well Sheila’s man was found about a quarter to twelve
Had a bullet through his heart behind a cheap motel
Then the cops came by to haul her off to jail
Sheila came into the courtroom
A jury of peers would bring her down
Everyone knew she was guilty
But she was set free by handsome old Judge Brown
Flashin diamonds and gold in a brand new Armani gown
She left her trailer behind for the nicer side of town
Ya, late one night I snuck over but she was in bed with old Judge Brown
So many years gone by but I still think of that girl
I was only sixteen but she gave me such a thrill
Poor Judge Brown , that’s right , he got killed
But that Widow Sheila lived on to rock some more
California Dance
By : Vento,Oblinger,Cody,Hadley,Beitle
Two all alone after 20 years
Kids were all grown we no longer cared
Love was gone without a sound
I packed it all in and I blew town
So I left Detroit on a one way jet
Cruise the California coast in my ragtop vett
Taste the sunshine all the way
I never looked back life began that day
Now I sway to the groove of my California dance
Palm trees, warm breeze, life’s second chance
I’m livin my dream
I followed my heart
I feel like a man
As I sway to the groove of my California dance
My California dance
Sand in my toes
Wind through my hair
Frozen margarita’s on an old bamboo chair
No clocks to punch
No 9-5
Here in my California paradise
Watch the waves roll in
Neath the clear blue sky
Wash away my sins
As the ships sail by
Left the world behind and fly so high
Makin love it’s a dreamscicle ride
Now I sway to the groove of my California dance
Palm trees, warm breeze, life’s second chance
I’m livin my dream
I followed my heart
I feel like a man
As I sway to the groove of my California dance
Tequilla
On the beach in the sun
Senioritas
Days and nights filled with fun
Lovely senioritas beneath the moonlight
A California dance on a California night
Nothing in my world ever felt so right
That’s my California dance
Now I sway to the groove of my California dance
Palm trees, warm breeze, life’s second chance
I’m livin my dream, I followed my heart
I feel like a man
As I sway to the groove of my California dance
